Okay, I believe I've already blogged years ago on how I hate how almost every comic book hero with a secret identity gets revealed... And it seemed like a number of people knew about The Batman's true identity throughout the film... Why not just call the film "Bruce Wayne". It does bother me when people have their own ideas of whom "Batman" really is despite the history of stories that have been created (they're called "comic books" folks) and they create their own stories...
There are a number of things I could write about which would explain my discontent but to make it easier on my time (and yours), I've written a number of questions related to the film:
If Bain was intent on destroying the city why was his focus on sending hitmen to the hospital to take out take out Gordon? Isn't he almost insignificant in the grand scheme of things here. You would think the bigger goal would be KILLING THE BATMAN than simply injuring him since he knows how Ra Ja Ghul thinks? "Hmmmm"
So Bruce Wayne's been a recluse for all these years and all of a sudden BATMAN shows up... The masses never notice.... Not even "TMZ"? Really?
What was the ruckus with the stand off on the bridge? Detective Blake had children with him....
Maybe one of the kids had a bomb? Hmmm...
Remember Batman's car in "Batman Begins" (It was a actuallya tank) Years later Bain and crew steal vehicles "Very very similar"... Hmmm
and no one noticed "That looks like something "Batman" would drive"?
and no one noticed "That looks like something "Batman" would drive"?
"And wait a minute, those say WANYE ENTERPRISES on the side".. "Wait a minute, wait a minute"!
How did Selina come up with the idea of wearing the cat suit? It seemed to me that she just showed up with it on.
Why not have the "Blake" character real last name be "Grayson" and not "Robin" (REALLY???)
And how did "Blake" get the batcave directions?
What's up with the minimal Catwoman usage?
What if you left the Ra Ja Ghul daughter revelation a film ending cliffhanger where see gets away at the very end.... Studios always feel the need to kill off major villanous characters quickly despite the 40 years of history?
Is this the same director that made "Inception"?
Now here's where add my own story based on what they put on the screen...
Don't you think a better story might have been?
PRESENT DAY: We open the film with an injured Bruce Wayne in that crappy prison thus leaving the viewers (many whom are not comic book fans) wondering why. And through a series of flashbacks, explain the entire story. And then the finale
FLASHBACK"
- The story would already have Bruce involved the "Miranda" character but she will not support Bruce in that board meeting until he and Lucius Fox finally reveal that "machine" to her....
- Introduce "Selina Kyle" and build on that relationship with her and Bruce. We watch her blossom in "Catwoman" and do her cat burgular thing.
- We learn of the number of serious injuries Bruce has which explains his reclusive side for several years (embarrassment) BUT "The Batman is still around from time to time. Alfred is still upset as Bruce is still going out at night as "The Batman"
- We explore the history of Bain and the ultimate plan of Ra Ja Ghul's which includes eliminating Batman starting with Bain crushing "Bats" and "breaking him up".
- The "Officer Blake" character is introduced as this go getter type of cop whom has no idea of whom "The Batman" is.(*)

PRESENT DAY: As Bruce continues to watch Bain destroy Gotham,
One of the prisoners whom is to care for him eventually tells him the story of Bain and how he escaped the prison as a boy... From here on Bruce builds up his body and mind so that he can finally crawl out of the prison and save the others inside...

FLASHBACK:
- Bain runs Gotham into the ground meanwhile Commisioner Gordon admires Officer Blake and thus makes him a Detective, helping stop Bain. And "Catwoman" is stealing everything under the sun as no one is paying attention to her. (She would add the spice and the sexy comic relief in all of her scenes).

PRESENT DAY: Bruce escapes the "hole" returning to Gotham, catches up with Catwoman in the midst of a heist offers her a deal (to wipe her records clean) if she will help him. They agree. Batman's first plan of attack is to stop the Nuke from going off in Gotham then take down Bain but he is betrayed by "Miranda" (whom reveals herself as the daughter of Ra Ja Ghul) and she escapes with Bain.
And through it all, "Selina Kyle/Catwoman" always had his back (no pun intended) despite she and Batman them being on the opposite sides of the law. This would only strengthen the relationship those two have in the comics...
In the very end Bruce talks with Detective Blake thanking him for carrying out "the mission" at hand.
It would be revealed that Bruce had Blake join the police force purposely to get close to Commisioner Gordon (as Batman and the Commisioner have a close relationship in the comics). In the meantime while Bruce tried to recover from his injuries, Blake was secretly appearing as "The Batman" across Gotham just to keep fear in criminals thorughout the city. He would ask go on to ask Blake whose real name would be revealed as "Dick Grayson" to join him as he would be his mentor...

Sincerely,
Disappointed..
