Okay I didn;t see "The Dark Knight" but...

I did get a chance to see a smaller film titled "Felon". It stars Stephen Dorff, Val Kilmer, Harold Perrineau, Nate Parker and Marisol Nichols. It is a gritty prison film that I was not expecting... "WOW"! I heard Dorff being interview on Sirius radio, Friday night and thought, let me check out the "indie"

I didn't know Perrineau had it in him (See the film, you'll understand).

It somehow reminded me of dramas like "Traffic" and "Crash" with the themes of "An Innocent Man" and Stallone's "Lock Up".

I'd love to hear some Oscar buzz for Kilmer, Dorff or Perrineau. The director's name is Ric Roman Waugh (which might be an alias, like Alan Smithee). If it's his real name, he's also a writer on it as well... We might be adding the "franchise" tag to his name in the near future.
