Jeremy Piven would make a really good...

Disregarding the current or future rumors on "will he or won't he". It may be awhile before Robert Downey Jr. gives up the Tony Stark character after the Avengers: Infinity Wars  story. If Downey decides to not carry on. Jeremy Piven would be MY next choice to play the "Iron-Man". And today, After I watching the new Entourage film trailer, I see many of the mannerisms that he brings to his "Ari" character and a few other characters he's portrayed it often feels a bit off the page (improvised) similar to Downey's style. The quick witted, charming, and yet smart type (when not being a "smart ass"). I can't think of many actors that have this type of style these days other than Kevin Hart if he slows himself down (hopefully in the "The Wedding Ringer"... which looks interesting to me and feels like his big crossover hit but that's for another blog) but don't count on a Black Iron-Man anytime soon and one of Hart's stature actually... And with Piven being slightly taller than Downey it would match up with Gwyneth Paltrow on screen as well.

Actually to see Downey and Piven on screen playing off one another could be quite interesting given the RIGHT project.  Even in the "Sherlock Holmes" franchise. This is not to state that Jude Law isn't excellent as "Watson". Or have them play brothers similar to the film "Twins". OR Have Downey play "Ari Gold's" brother since his character is loosely based on real life Hollywood agent Ari Emmanuel (related to Rahm Emmanuel)... Nuff said

Either way Jeremy Piven would make a really good Iron-Man.
