I think as right now, "Inception" is probably the best movie of the year. Excellent film by Christopher Nolan. I liked his work ever since "Following". He has a flair for detail in his work as seen in "Memento" which was very clever in the way it was shown. After watching "Inception" there will be some comparisons with "The Matrix" but this should make Hollywood abort the lame trend of remaking films to be box office hits.
I did not see it as of yet. And it seems like some of my pick fell short. As long as remakes continue to bring in the fast money, Hollywood will always take advantage of remakes. For Christ's sake they're already remaking that "Tatto" film and it just came out months ago...
