Summer Films part 3

The Hangover:
FUNNY, funny, funny and this should mark the emergence of Zach Galifianakis, who steels the movie. I was aware of his more dramatic side on the show “Tru Calling” and I was aware that he was a comedian but had never seen any of his act. But on this film he came out guns blazing. The film was like a very comedic more linear version of “Memento”. This also shows that Bradley Cooper does have a leading man persona. Director Todd Phillips has created such a strong track record with prior hits “Road Trip” Stasky and Hutch” and “Old School” but this is proving to probably be his biggest one to date. It’s looking like it will be a first R rated adult comedy to reach 200 million since “The Wedding Crashers” and in less time more than likely… I could only ask for no Sequel just break the mold and move onward…
